Tonia and her husband were great to work with and helped my wife and I buy our first home. We worked with Tonia and Kenny during a difficult period in our lives involving a probate estate sale due to the passing of an immediate family member. These types of sales require additional knowledge and communication with probate attorneys that is not required during the majority of home sales. The Kleinsmith’s researched the additional requirements and took all the appropriate steps to make sure that all disclosures and paperwork were completed on time and accurately to the legal representatives.

Our family has worked with Tonia on multiple home purchases. She is an honest person and truly cares for the best interest of her clients. She does her full research and presents all options ahead of time. Tonia and Kenny are very knowledgeable realtors and offer amazing customer service. We told them what kind of property were looking for and they found our dream home. It was a bit of a struggle because of the listing agent… Without Tonia and Kenny as our realtors and them going the many extra miles to make sure our offer was properly presented to the property owners I’m sure we would not have gotten our home. Bought a Single Family home in 2019 in Nipomo, CA.
We honestly do not know what we would have done without Tonia & The Kleinsmith Team’s guidance, experience, and support during the process of buying our new home. They are professional, true caring nature, and their extensive knowledge/connections bring all these qualities to the table for their clients. We just received our key to our new home.

Because we are from another county, our sources were limited. The first agent that was referred to us was preoccupied, so my husband looked up the listing agent of our new house through MSL Listing and found Tonia. He called her that evening, and the next day we found ourselves driving south 2 ½ hours to meet Tonia Kleinsmith. We fell in love with the house and found ourselves making an offer that evening. Although there were other offers on the table, Tonia fought very hard for us to the end. Her level of commitment to serve us throughout the home buying process was extremely responsive and thoughtful. She is by far the most service-oriented realtor I have worked with.

Tonia not only assisted us in the purchase of our new home but also recommended a handyman, painting company, among other professionals. She has provided us with excellent, timely recommendations. Tonia Kleinsmith is one of the best Realtors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I presently live in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, but have certainly been contemplating slowing down to live in the Central Coast and Counties like San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara. With my professional experience as a Trial Lawyer for over 25 years when I had my own practice, I had developed a rather keen sense of the quality of the professional services one comes to expect from a Real Estate Broker, especially if the price of the property nears or exceeds High 6 & low 7 figures. Tonia patiently showed my Fiancee & I several single-family residences in these areas & her knowledge of the several areas which might suit us was quite remarkable. I was impressed. In addition, another remarkable feature about her surfaced, to wit: her absolute lack of fatigue despite constant motion, counseling and related activities with no discernible breaks.
While these efforts were not then rewarded, the situation with my Fiancee changed and we decided to purchase a Condominium for her and defer the SFR for us until I could get squared away with my Real Property in the City of Berkeley. Negotiations were started but then, got bogged down & a true stalemate appeared eminent, at which point I intervened and advise Tonia to make a Counter Officer with new money. She did so very well as I expected her to do and within 48 hrs, as I recall, an agreement was reached. Escrow has since closed and My Fiancee now owns her own Condo in a wonderful location in Santa Maria.
Tonia and her outstanding staff made all of their resources available to us to move on the purchase after an agreement was reached and it was those resources and their timeliness with which I was impressed. As I recall, no stone was left unturned. Completely thorough, highly professional and congenial throughout. There is no doubt, when my Fiancee & I purchase a SFR in the Central Coast soon, Tonia will be our Broker for certain. And, I intend to refer my colleagues to her who may be similarly situated.
